What a blister pack isA blister pack holds a complete week's supply of medication, sorted into four daily doses. Each dose sits in its own sealed cup, and each cup carries a colour picture of the medication inside. Labels are colour-coded for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime, so the day and time read at a glance. The cups are perforated. One dose, or one full day, tears away for a day out, and the rest of the week stays sorted at home. The pharmacy packs it with an automated system, which the pharmacy says virtually eliminates human handling of medications. Merrett's describes itself as the only automated blister packing service in Northern Ontario. What happens next
